Once you've added your question components to the page, you can configure them using the Project toolbar.

1. Editing your questions
A new question component will contain some placeholder text as well as placeholder answers. You can edit the text and configure the answers using the Project toolbar.
1. Select the question component. A blue border around the question indicates that it has been selected.
2. Select the Question icon on the right-hand Project toolbar
In the window, there are several headings containing different controls for the question:
- Question: contains controls for the question and its answers
- Feedback: contains controls for the feedback a user sees once they have submitted an answer
- Buttons: allows you to edit the button used to submit answers
- Answer colors: use to apply one of the alternative color combinations allowed by your Brand Style. For more information about this, see Changing the appearance of your Project without changing the Brand Style.
Each accordion in the editing window represents an element of your question.
2. Using the question editing modal
Expand the accordion of the question you'd like to edit. This will reveal a text field and several new accordions containing controls for each answer:
i. Adding text to questions and answers
1. Expand the Question accordion
2. Type your question into the Question text field
3. Expand an Answer accordion and write an answer in the text field
ii. Setting an answer as correct or incorrect
Each answer will need to be set as correct or incorrect.
1. Open an Answer accordion
2. Select the correct answer icon to define the correct answer to the question:
3. Select the incorrect answer icon to define an answer as incorrect:
iii. Creating a multiple-choice question
If you'd like to create a question where there is more than one correct answer, you can make it into a multiple choice question.
1. Open the Question accordion of the question you'd like to change
2. Under Question Type, select Multiple Choice:
3. Set any additional answers as correct as needed
iv. Setting the number of answers per row
You can set how many answers appear on each row. This is useful to make a large number of answers more compact. You can have up to 4 answers per row.
1. Open the Question accordion of the question you'd like to change
2. Select a number from the Answers per row drop-down menu
v. Changing the position of a question or answer
You can re-arrange the positions of your questions and answers.
1. Select the ellipsis menu of the item you'd like to move
2. Select Move up to move the item one position up or Move down to move it one position down
vi. Deleting a question or answer
1. Select the ellipsis menu of the item you'd like to delete
2. Select Delete
Note: If you delete an item by mistake or change your mind, you can restore your Project back to a previous save. To learn more about this, see Restoring a previous version of your Project. |
