Randomizing the order of answers in a question component

Randomizing the answers of your questions can make for a more challenging experience for your learners. It can be an effective aid towards reducing answer sharing and improving knowledge retention by requiring the learner to think critically about their answer.

When answers are randomized, the order will be shuffled each time the learner visits the page. 

 

Configuring randomized answer order

1. Open your Project

2. Select Questions & Completion from the top toolbar:

3. Select Questions to expand the question options for your course

4. Select an option from Randomise answer order to learners:

  • Yes: enable answer randomization
  • No: disable answer randomization

5. Select Apply Changes to save your changes
