Creating a results summary for your quiz

Adding a Score Summary component to your course can help your learners understand their score and how it is divided across each question.

The Score Summary updates in real-time as each question is answered and shows learners:

  • their total score
  • a breakdown of each question
  • the answer they gave
  • and whether that answer was correct or incorrect

Learners will also receive feedback based on their results, which you can customize. This allows you to add personalized messages, such as congratulatory notes for those who pass or calls to action for learners who don’t meet the passing score.

Note: The results summary will only show feedback for questions that have been configured to report a score. To learn how to configure your questions to report a score, see Setting up your questions to report a score.
