Creating a new project from your Catalogue

Accessing and using your off-the-shelf content

If your organisation has purchased off-the-shelf (OTS) content from Learning Pool, that content is made available to you through Catalogues, curated groups of courses assigned to your account. From the Catalogues tab in Elucidat, you can browse the collections and courses included in your subscription and copy any course directly into your own workspace to edit and publish to your learners.

In this article, you will learn how to view your collections, browse the courses inside them, and duplicate a course into your workspace.

Viewing your collections

Your collections are available from the main navigation in Elucidat.

  1. Open Elucidat and sign in to your account
  2. Select the Catalogues tab from the main navigation

You will see a list of all of the Catalogue courses currently assigned to your organisation. You can filter by Collection name and/or search by Course title.

Courses you have already duplicated are clearly marked, so you can see at a glance what you have and haven't copied yet.

Note: You can only see courses that are contained in collections assigned to your organisation, and as we are transitioning content from Adapt, you will not see all of your collections straight away. If you subscribe to a collection and you know it is available in Create, but it isn’t showing, contact your Learning Pool account manager.

Duplicating a course into your workspace

When you find a course you'd like to use, you can duplicate it into your workspace in two ways, depending on how much control you need.

Adding a copy to your projects

When you duplicate a course from a collection, your copy has text, asset and brand editing capabilities, so you can tailor it to your needs and publish it to your learners. Structural changes - such as adding, removing or moving elements - are not available on this copy.

This preserves the link to the original course in the collection, which means updates to the Catalogue version can be pushed to your copy in the future.

  1. Find the course you'd like to use inside a collection
  2. Click Duplicate on the course
  3. Your copy will appear in Your Projects, ready to edit and publish

Need to make structural changes?

If you need to add, remove or move elements, you can duplicate the course within your own account. This gives you full editing freedom, but breaks the link to the original collection course, meaning future updates to the original will not be pushed to your version.
