Exporting a course that can be taken in multiple languages

Once you've created your translations, you can choose to export the course as one multi-language course containing each language version in one SCORM or Online Link.

Before you begin

If this is your first time creating a release, we recommend reading Publishing your first Online Link course or Understanding our online SCORM package to understand how the basic process works before enabling additional configurations.

This guide focuses on the quickest route to creating a multi-language course. There are additional configurations you can apply that change what data the course collects and who can access it. For simplicity, these extra options are not detailed here. If you’d like to learn more about these options, see Additional configurations at the end of the article.

Creating a multi-language course

  1. Click Create a Release
  2. From the drop-down menu, choose the languages you’d like to include in the release.
  3. Choose your preferred release type: Release for LMS or Online Link
  4. Apply your preferred configuration options
  5. Click Create Release to complete the release

Upon launching the course, learners will be presented with a language selection screen. Here, they can choose the course language by selecting one of the options in the drop-down menu.

Learners can freely switch between languages without losing their progress by selecting the globe icon in the header of the course.

Additional configurations

There are additional configurations you can apply to your courses to change who can access them and the type of data they capture and report.
