Replying to and resolving reviewer comments

After a colleague has added comments to your Project, you can reply to them if you need further clarification or discussion or resolve them if there is no further action required.

Viewing comments in your Project

After a comment has been added, it can be viewed in the comments pane. Comments are grouped by content block and the comments pane has a number of additional filtering options available to use if you want to focus on a particular page or area.

1. To open the comments pane and view your comments, select the comment icon  elucreate-comment-icon in the top toolbar

2. Expand the accordion of the element(s) you'd like to view to reveal the comment added

Resolving comments

When a reviewer comment no longer needs attention, for example if the suggested action has been carried out, you can resolve it.

Resolving a comment will close it and prevent any further replies from being added but will still be available to view so you can keep track of the actions taken.

You can unresolve a comment if you resolved it by mistake or if there is further discussion or action needed.

Toggling a comment's resolved status

1. Open the comment pane

2. Find the comment you'd like to reply to

3. Select the Mark as resolved radio button to toggle the comment's resolved status:

  • Ticked: indicates the comment has been resolved
  • Unticked: the comment is unresolved
