All Projects that you build in Create will initially only be visible to you. Your Projects will remain private to you until you share them. This means you have direct control over which of your colleagues can view, edit, and comment on your elearning courses.
You can choose to share the Project with specific users or your whole organisation at once and you can remove or change other users' access to your Projects at any time.

Accessing a Project's sharing settings
You can modify other user's access to a Project either from the Project library or from the Project itself.
From the Project library
1. Go to the Project library
2. Find the Project you'd like to share
3. Select the ellipsis menu on the right-hand side of the Project:
4. Choose Share to open the sharing settings
From the Project editing interface
1. Open the Project
2. Select Settings from the top toolbar
3. Choose Share to open the sharing settings
Choosing the individuals or groups you'd like to share your Project with
Once you've selected Share using either of the methods above, a modal window will open. Under the Users with access heading, you can see who already has access to the Project. Under Access Level, you can see what kind of permissions each user or group has:
You can configure organisational and individual access simultaneously, allowing you to create tailored access levels for different people or groups.
Individual access will always override the setting configured for the organisation. This can be useful if you want to create exceptions to your access settings like granting your entire organisation access except for certain users.
For a detailed breakdown of each access level, see Understanding user roles and access levels.
Sharing your Project with your entire organisation
1. In the list of Users with access, open the Access Level menu for All account at [your organisation]
2. Choose Editor from the list to give your organisation editing permissions for your Project
You can revoke this access at any time by choosing No Access. This will mean that no-one will be able to access your Project until you share it again (unless you have also granted access for specific users—in this case, follow the instructions below to change their access).
Sharing your Project with individual users
1. Search for the user in the Search Users field. You can either type their name or view a list of users by selecting the downward-facing arrow in the search field.
2. Set their access level from the drop-down menu
3. Select Share
Tip: If there are several users you'd like to add at a time who you want to all have the same access level, you can select multiple users from the search bar and select the access level you want them to have.
If you're adding several users with different access levels, you'll need to add them individually. |
