With Create's commenting features, you can add comments to a Project for other users to review.
Commenting works similarly to other familiar applications like Word or Google Docs—comments can be added to content blocks by a user and those comments can be seen and replied to by other users.
Peer reviewing content is a great way for you and your team to carry out quality assurance on your Project before it is released to your learners.
Adding a comment
1. Find and open the Project you'd like to comment on
2. Select the content block you'd like to add a comment to—you'll know it is selected if it has a blue border surrounding it
3. Select the comment button at the top right of the content block to open the comments pane
4. Type your comment in the Add a comment field
5. To publish your comment, select Post
You can add multiple comments to a content block—repeat the steps above to add a new comment. A numbered icon () will appear at the top right corner of the content block to indicate that there are comments that need attention.
Viewing your comments
After a comment has been added, it can be viewed in the comments pane. Comments are separated by content block and the comments pane has a number of additional filtering options available to use if you want to focus on a particular page or area.
1. To open the comments pane and view your comments, select the comment icon in the top toolbar
2. Expand the accordion of the element(s) you'd like to view to reveal the comment added
Tip: You can jump to a specific comment in the pane by selecting a comment's numbered indicator |
Editing a comment
If you've made a typo or would like to amend your comment, you can edit it.
1. In the comments pane, find the comment you'd like to edit
2. Select the comments ellipsis icon ()
3. Select Edit from the menu
4. Type your changes in the text box
5. Select Post to save your comment
A note and timestamp will be added to the comment to indicate it has been edited.
