We are excited to announce a highly requested batch of features focused on giving you greater layout flexibility, enhanced branding controls, and an improved learner experience.
What’s New:
- Enhanced Image Editor & GIF Support We’ve improved our image manipulation tool to give you better control over your visual design. The new built-in image editor allows you to:
- Crop with precision: Choose between standard rectangular or circular crops to perfectly frame your visuals.
- Fit or Fill: Easily toggle how your image sits within its container so it always looks its best.
- Control Aspect Ratios: Lock in preset aspect ratios for perfect consistency across your course, or set custom ratios for bespoke layouts.
- Upload GIFs: You can now upload and playback GIFs to add dynamic, eye-catching motion to your courses, a highly requested feature for premium content
- Separate Internal and Display Project Titles: You can now separate your internal naming conventions from what the learner sees. We've introduced dual naming fields so your visible project title in the header can be completely different from your internal tracking name.
- Remove Background Blur: Background images previously applied an automatic translucent blur overlay. You can now remove this effect entirely, granting you much greater design flexibility for branded content and cleaner visuals.
- Advanced Grid Layouts (Items Per Row): Say goodbye to lopsided layouts! You can now customise the number of items per row and the overall layout for components that use a grid format (such as flipcards and grid menus).
- Course Header Customisation: We’ve expanded header styling controls. You now have greater control over branding and layout, including what to display in the header and the ability to make the header stick to the top of the page.
- Timeline and Accordion Enhancements: Authors can now choose the behaviour of expanded items—decide whether expanding a new item collapses the others or keeps them all open. Additionally, newly expanded items will intelligently scroll into view if they are partially hidden, ensuring a seamless experience for learners.
- Brand Style Default Images: You can now choose to delete or set custom default images for background and placeholder elements within page sections, giving you more control over your brand application at the template level.
- Course Navigation component: an automated grid menu that instantly syncs project pages and chapters while displaying real-time learner progress indicators. This "set-it-and-forget-it" tool eliminates manual menu building, though it does not support custom images for menu items.
