Overview
This document provides guidance for configuring your domain allow-list to ensure optimal functionality of Elucidat services. All Elucidat services operate under the *.elucidat.com domain structure, with additional required services hosted on separate domains.
Recommended configuration approach
Here is our recommended method for configuring your allow-list.
1. Primary domain configuration
Configure your security controls to allow all traffic to and from*.elucidat.com.
This allows services from the following categories (for more information, see Domain list)
- Core services for Authors
- Micro-sites for specific authoring tasks
- Services for learners
2. Additional required services
To ensure full functionality, domains in the Additional services category must also be permitted. See the Domain list for more information.

- Wildcards: Where possible, use wildcard patterns (e.g., *.elucidat.com) to ensure coverage of new subdomains.
- Troubleshooting:
- If you experience service disruptions, verify allow-list configurations
