A Brand Style is a blueprint for how your Project looks and feels. Brand Styles can be applied to multiple Projects at once to help you and your team achieve a consistent identity without having to apply manual styling edits to individual elements of your Project.
| Note: Styles created in Author cannot be transferred to Elucidat Create or vice versa, however Create Styles are simpler than Author Styles and take less effort to set up. If you're setting up a new Create Brand Style and want to use an existing Author Style as inspiration, we recommend opening the Author Style sheet in a new tab or window and copy/pasting the elements (hex codes etc) you'd like to use. |
Creating a Style from scratch
- Go to the Brand area of the Create homepage.
- Select Create Style.
- Choose Start from scratch.
- Choose a name for your new Style and select Ok.
You'll be taken to the Style editor where you can begin making your changes.
The Style editor
In the Style editor, you can see the changes you make to the Style in real-time in an example Project.
On the left are the controls for the Style, arranged in accordions. On the right, is a representation of a Project to illustrate how your Style might look in your Projects.
Once you've made your changes, select Save. If you'd like to go back to a previously saved version of your Style, you can use the Edit history to return to whichever version you'd prefer. This is useful if you want to experiment or if you make a change by mistake.
Returning to a previous version of your Style will not overwrite any versions created after that so you can always go back to where you were if you need to.
