Clearer navigation of your localized pages

In Multi-Language courses, you can create one-off localized pages in your Variations. These are useful when guidance or information is specific to a region or group of locations, such as different laws, regulations, or cultural practices.

We have updated how these localized pages appear in the page navigation menu in your Variations so it’s clear which pages are included and which are not.

All pages will remain visible in the Parent’s pages overview.

But pages that have been hidden from a Variation will no longer appear in the navigation menu.

Navigation menu fix

When using the Project’s navigation buttons to move forward, the page navigation menu in the authoring interface was not updating to show the page you were working on. In this example below, the page navigation menu indicates that the current page is page 1 ‘Title page‘ but this is incorrect; the active page is page 12 ‘Time to recap’.

This could cause confusion when moving through a Project, as the menu didn’t always reflect your current location.

We’ve fixed this issue so the navigation menu now highlights the active page again, ensuring you can always see where you are in your Project and stay oriented while editing.
