Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) is a mechanism where you can allow people within your organisation to access multiple systems with just one secure log-in, without the need to enter multiple passwords. User login credentials are aligned with your central SSO server, not Elucidat. As there is a central authentication point, the risk of access by people from outside your organization is greatly limited.

Once your colleagues have been added to your Elucidat account, they will be able to log in to the platform via your SSO provider.

By implementing SSO for authors, you can make access to Elucidat authoring easier, safer and more manageable for your team.

Note: SSO is only available for users of the Elucidat authoring platform. We do not offer SSO capabilities for learners.

Setting up SSO

SSO is a purchased add-on. If you would like to discuss implementing SSO in Elucidat, open a ticket with Support and they can help get you set-up in just a few steps.

You should also check with your IT team to find out whether you have an SSO provider and if it uses SAML authentication.
