Translating your courses in Create can be done quickly using Auto-Translate.
Auto-Translate uses machine translation to automate the process for you and create fully translated courses in up to 75 different languages in a matter of seconds. For the full list of available languages, see Supported languages for Auto-Translate.
When you use Auto-Translate, a translated version of the original Project—called a Variation—will be made. The original Project will become a Parent Project which will be linked to the new Variation. You can then use the Parent to control the Variation and keep all of your content consistent. For example, if you add a new line of text to the Parent, you can sync this change with its Variations to instantly update them and auto-translate the new text. For more information about how to sync Variations, see Syncing changes between your Parent and its Variations.
Overall, this method is a quicker and more cost-effective way to build translated content than using translation files—however, we strongly recommend you have the translated courses reviewed by a fluent speaker as Auto-Translate may not always translate terms or phrases to your expectation.
