Tracking the progress and performance of your learners is an important part of releasing any elearning course. Analytics allows you to view the results of your learners, helping you understand how well they are doing and whether they’re meeting the course goals.
You can see detailed information about each learner, like whether they’ve completed the course or whether they passed or failed. You can search for a specific learner or course, and use filters to narrow down the results by criteria like course name, completion status, or date.
If you need to analyze the data further, you can also export the results into a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. This can be opened in a spreadsheet so you can create more detailed reports there. For more information about how to do this, see Exporting your analytics data.
Viewing learner results in the dashboard
1. Go to the Create homepage
2. Select Your data from the sidebar menu
3. Choose the Results tab
You will see all of your learner data for all of your elearning courses here.
To learn more about how to filter the data in the dashboard, see Using the data dashboard search and filters.
Understanding your learners' results
The information for each learner entry is sorted under these headings:
Heading | Description | Additional information |
Learner | Shows the learner's name and email address | The name and email address appear as reported by your LMS. In some cases, a SCORM ID will be reported in place of an email. |
Project | Shows the Project and version the course was exported from | The version number indicates the save version of that Project. This is useful for identifying which iteration of your course the learner took. For more information about save versions, see Creating Save versions. |
Completed | Shows the progress percentage and a completion indicator |
A green tick () indicates a completed result. A blank space indicates the learner has not completed the course yet. |
Result | Shows the score percentage and a pass or fail indicator |
A green tick () indicates a pass result. A red cross () indicates a failed result. |
Learning time | Shows total time spent in the course |
This can help gauge learner engagement |
Last updated | Shows when the data was last reported |
You can use the dashboard filters to view all data within a specific time frame |
